Converting frequency
Frequency counts repeating events per unit time. One hertz is one cycle per second. Revolutions per minute divide by 60 to give hertz.
How the calculation works
Multiply the source value by its base-unit factor, then divide by the destination factor. For example, 1 MHz ≈ 1000 kHz.
Precision and rounding
Choose 6, 10 or 15 significant figures for the displayed result. Calculations use unrounded JavaScript numbers. The ≈ symbol indicates that displayed results may be rounded; significant figures are display precision, not measurement accuracy.
