Converting angle
Angles describe rotation. One full turn is 360 degrees, 400 gradians or 2π radians. Arcminutes and arcseconds divide a degree into 60 and 3,600 parts.
How the calculation works
Multiply the source value by its base-unit factor, then divide by the destination factor. For example, 1 ° ≈ 0.01745329252 rad.
Precision and rounding
Choose 6, 10 or 15 significant figures for the displayed result. Calculations use unrounded JavaScript numbers. The ≈ symbol indicates that displayed results may be rounded; significant figures are display precision, not measurement accuracy.
